"Creating our Future" - SFI and Marino School

Science Foundation Ireland visits Marino Special School

Students in Marino Community Special School were delighted to have an opportunity to contribute to the launch of national research in “Creating our Future” in Ireland on Friday the 24th September 2021. Students posted their ideas to try and achieve a better Ireland in the decades ahead and a better future for our young generation. Environmental issues and health and well-being were certainly high on the agenda for students in Marino School.

Thank you to Ciaran and his team from Science Foundation Ireland, for taking the time to visit Marino School and to engage our students in discussion for a better future in Ireland. For further information on “Creating our Future”, please see www.creatingourfuture.ieand post your ideas online. Every idea will help to inform the research and try to achieve a better future for all.

The national forum is chaired by Julie Byrne, whose focus is to build on research and science in Ireland and to engage all public groups in this important discussion on how best to create a better future.
