Active Schools Programme 2020 - 2021
The Active School Programme in Marino School was a great success this school year. There was enthusiastic participation from all students as we promote daily activities that are fun and motivating for everyone. The focus of the activity programme is to develop an awareness of the importance of and enjoyment of daily activity and to encourage ALL students, to become involved in exercise programmes in school. The ‘Run around Europe’ challenge has been very exciting for all students. Students reached their chosen destination of Rome, on the 4th June 2021. There was great fun and excitement with Italian flags waving and music playing and of course, we celebrated with some local Domino’s pizza in Bray. We look forward to choosing another European city destination in the next school year!
