☘️☘️☘️☘️ Seachtain na Gaeilge 2024 ☘️☘️☘️☘️
We had a great week in Marino School, celebrating St. Patrick with Seachtain na Gaeilge! Staff organised a variety of Irish cultural activities and students enjoyed their engagement in the following activities: Irish dancing performances by Irish dancers from St. Patrick’s N.S. and St. Cronan’s N.S., Irish music sessions, Green Day and artwork, treasure hunt to find the crock of gold, making Irish breakfasts on Friday, Kahoot Quiz on St. Patrick and Tráth na gceist fun(Quiz)! It was certainly an enjoyable week for all students. A huge thank you to staff and students in St. Patrick's N.S and St. Cronan's N.S for making the céilí the highlight of our week! On Green Day, junior classes had a school parade in the hall, with lots of dancing, flags and shamrocks! I hope that everyone has an enjoyable St. Patrick’s weekend. Marino School will be open on Tuesday the 19th March.
