Festina Lente visits Marino School
In Marino School, we are eager to explore the benefits of children’s supervised interaction with ponies. We are delighted to welcome Festina Lente to our school each week. Two Shetland ponies called Siofra and Alanna, arrive to our school and like to interact with students from all classes. Students have an opportunity to pet the ponies, brush the ponies and bring them for a short walk on the green area outside school. Interaction is enjoyable and calming and certainly a lovely experience for all students. Thank you to Shannon for organising these visits and a special thank you to Suzanne and Amy for bringing the ponies to our school each week and for their lovely interaction with everyone.
