Friendship Week in Marino School 17th February – 19th February
Last week we celebrated friendship week in Marino School. Students considered the qualities that they would look for in a friend and the qualities that they have that make them good friends. We explored things that we like to do with our friends, such as playing games together and chatting with each other. We focused on the importance of friendships for our personal wellbeing. The senior and middle primary students collectively made a friendship tree with their handprints forming the leaves. Some children even had their handprints holding their best friends hand on the tree. We finished our week with a Kahoot quiz in the senior end of the school about Wellbeing and Friendship.
