Marino School and St. Cronan's N.S. go bowling!
As part of the NCSE "Towards Inclusion" Project, students from Marino Special School and St. Cronan's NS came together for a sociable and enjoyable bowling activity that proved to be fun for everyone involved. Building on the strong, collaborative relationship both schools have fostered over the years — most recently celebrated through the creation of their shared stone painting mural in Marino School— this initiative brought students of all abilities together in a fun, relaxed, and meaningful setting. Bowling provided the perfect inclusive environment, naturally encouraging positive interactions and good teamwork across all abilities. In the spirit of the NCSE Towards Inclusion Project's aims, students had the wonderful opportunity to engage with one another in a direct and authentic way, developing awareness and understanding of diverse communication styles, sensory needs, and different ways of participating. It was a positive experience for every student, teacher, and adult involved. Thank you to the staff in Bray Bowl for being so helpful and accommodating.
