Irish Dancing

Staff and students in Marino School were delighted to host St. Patrick's National School during Seachtain na Gaeilge. The annual tradition is always one of the highlights of the week for the school and once again the event proved to be a great success.

The dancers put on a number of amazing performances for the students highlighting their incredible talent and enthusiasm for their artistry. Their wonderful exhibition of traditional Irish dance was only outdone by the appreciation of the captivated audience.

But the best was yet to come, as the dancers from St. Patrick's N.S. invited staff and students to partake in an impromptu Ceili! As you can see from the photos in the article, students of all ages and abilities took part in the knees up celebration of Irish music and dance. The dancers from St. Patrick's were excellent instructors and the students and staff of Marino were quick learners which resulted in a beautifully harmony of all moving together as one.

Many thanks to the teachers and dancers from St. Patrick's N.S. for joining us in celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge. They helped create wonderful memories for our students and we look forward to making more in the coming years at future events.
