Music Therapy in Marino School
Marino School is delighted to receive grant aid from Wicklow County Council to provide Music Therapy for students in our school. Katerina and Barbara will be with us for another year in 2021! Wicklow County Council has sanctioned grant aid to support the continued engagement of Katerina and Barbara with our staff and students at this time, under their Strategic Funding Programme for 2021.
Both Music Therapists have engaged wonderfully and creatively with students in Marino Community Special School, both before, during and after the unprecedented school closure in March 2020. Katerina and Barbora have managed to engage meaningfully with students with complex needs, giving them a creative outlet to express themselves. Staff members enjoy working collaboratively with Barbara and Katerina in addressing the needs of our students. We look forward to continued creative engagement in 2021!
